Microsoft Outlook 2007 Export and Import Accounts

Who uses Outlook 2007 will have noticed that the program is no longer the "Save My Settings Wizard for Microsoft Office 2003" just used in the previous version, which was very useful to save and restore as well as user preferences also e-mail account in MS Outlook.

For messages simply save or export the PST file is usually found in

"C: \\ Documents and Settings \\ AccountName \\ Local Settings \\ Application Data \\ Microsoft \\ Outlook \\ Outlook.pst"

or if you do not know where is you can verify this by going to File -> Data File Management and e-mail to the rules you can use the "Export Rules" options present in the rules and notices are found in the tools menu, but unfortunately is not the same thing the e-mail account but can be remedied by exporting the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\ Software \\ Microsoft \\ Windows NT \\ CurrentVersion \\ Windows Messaging Subsystem \\ Profiles

To export just do right click on Profiles and select Export.

To re-import the Account ... Double click the file to add it to the register of the target PC.
