Friday, February 12 Lelio Bonaccorso, comic book artist of the recent revival of the courageous life of Peppino Impastato (with lyrics by Marco Rizzo ), meets the audience in an event organized by Mujmuné - South of No North of Leven. The meeting is an excellent opportunity to discover this precious book which recounts the tragic short life of this courageous and great man, already told in the beautiful film by Marco Tullio Giordana Hundred Steps.
The authors trace some of the salient facts of the life of Peppino Impastato helped by the memory of those who knew him, friends, family members, with the use of unpublished testimonies in order to produce an exciting and historical truth sincere, still capable of stirring hearts and minds , not to forget. The authors, both in Sicily, have in fact given rise to an important research work for the realization of this comic book. The handsome volume
Peppino Impastato, a jester against the Mafia was published by Becco Giallo May 9, 2009 in 31st anniversary of the death of Peppino Impastato. The publisher Yellow Beak has always been attentive to the comic particolarmento socially engaged, historical or biographical.
The book presentation will take place Friday, February 12 at 20:30 mujmuné at the association - south of no north, in the historic center of Rome 23/25 Leven (District Lecce).
Thursday, February 11 at 21:00 there will be a screening of the film "The Hundred Steps by Marco Tullio Giordana.
Admission is for members of the association Mujmuné. The cost of the card is 3 €.
