This idea came to me looking at this site . In my opinion, is simply brilliant! Just like you make a recipe that has most of the dry ingredients, then dosed them close them in the jar. Finally, make a label with the written prescription and your Christmas gift done!
Unfortunately some friends who read my blog you will ruin the surprise but since I imagine many people being in crisis with the Christmas gifts I could not publish it later. I have done my pot with the lentils in different colors.
You must obtain the glass jars, I've made a one-kilogram and one half, then add the lentils in alternating layers by color. In the biggest I have also done a layer of peas.
When you have filled the jar to the brim add flavors tied with string (I put rosemary and thyme), then in a bag put a spoonful of curry, a turmeric and dry chillies.


As you can see the result is impressive! The second jar I also put the label.

Label is not very well put .. was a test. I count on you to do better!
My mix I cooked the lentils in making them wet. One trick: If you advance the lentils are great for making veggie burgers !

Ingredients: 300 grams

lentil curry and turmeric 1 teaspoon dried chilli

a half glass of wine
vegetable broth and salt to taste oil


I never put the lentils bath the day before but if you want to do okay. Decrease the cooking time.
Fry the onion in a tablespoon of oil. When will imbiodita add the chilli. Cook for one minute and add the lentils.
Add wine.
When the wine has evaporated, add the vegetable stock to cover lentils, and mix of spices. Cook for one hour. Check during cooking, if you happened to be too dry, add more vegetable broth.
When cooked add salt and serve.

Today I propose this cake that I created after days of searching the web and on my kitchen one thousand newspapers. It was a bit 'I wanted to offer you a cake with carrots, just that all the recipes I found included tons of butter or too elaborate preparations. I could also do this in my blog but I want to propose just that easy recipes and above all they can do not want them to be excessively heavy.
The result was really good! In fact as I write this post that has remained in the cake dish is very little.

CARROT CAKE AND CHOCOLATE


Ingredients 200 grams of grated carrots

150 grams of flour 100 grams sugar 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa

1 tablespoon honey 3 eggs

half a bag of 150 grams of yeast
½ cup dark chocolate
milk

Getting Started: whip the egg whites and chopped dark chocolate.

Put the carrots in a blender, egg yolks, milk, sugar, honey and flour sifted with baking powder. Blend one minute then add the chocolate and cocoa. Blend until the ingredients are not mixed. If you do not have a blender you can do this in the traditional way with a whisk in a bowl.
Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl and mix gently from top to bottom the egg whites until stiff.


Now pour the mixture into a baking pan. I used the silicone.


Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.


The cake is ready. I have adorned with slivers of chocolate that I added when the cake was still warm to melt it a bit '.

Getting Started: saute the vegetables in a pan with a little oil do. I have used Artichoke, a eggplant and asparagus.


Grease and line the mold with the breadcrumbs, semolina and parmesan cheese mixed together.


Mix the sauce with two tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved in 2 fingers of warm water. Add the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, semolina and salt. Place half the mixture into the mold. Place mixture over the layer of vegetables and teaspoons ricotta.



Cover with the rest of the mixture and bread crumbs.


Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.


Before serving let cool a few minutes.
